Summer is here and ice cream is essential! This is a delicious ice cream to make and it smells wonderful too. Served with a dark chocolate sauce to make a very decadent dessert
1 litre good quality vanilla ice cream
6 Tbsp roughly torn rose petals (red or pink, and best if they have a scent) Tbsp rose water
100g Turkish Delight chopped
Melt the ice cream slightly until it can be stirred with a spoon.
Add the rose water, rose petals and Turkish Delight and stir well
Pour into ice lollie trays and add a stick, or into a plastic dish
Return to the freezer and freeze until hard again.
Serve with extra rose petals, chocolate sauce or grated dark chocolate
