Cheese and Bacon Rolls

These are so easy to make, ideal for a quick supper, breakfast or lunch.

1 roll frozen puff pastry

1 cup grated cheese

3-4 slices of bacon, chopped

Chop the bacon and fry until cooked.

Remove the pastry from the plastic and flatten it out.  Don’t roll it thinner

Spread the cheese and bacon over the pastry (go right up to the short ends)

Gently roll the pastry up on the long side like a swiss roll

Place in the fridge for about 30 minutes.  It is easier to slice when cold

Remove from the fridge and cut into 2cm slices.

Lay them flat on a baking tray

Cook in a preheated oven at 200 C for 25 minutes.
